Greetings,

Welcome to my website. It is very simple at the moment. I like it this way.

Some day, it may get more complex. We shall see.

But here should be most of the information you need.

Blessings,

Soren

Wisdom 2.0 Conference

Much of my time is focused on the Wisdom 2.0 Conference, an annual conference held in Silicon Valley exploring living with deeper mindfulness, wisdom, and compassion in our modern age.

Short Bio

Soren Gordhamer works with individuals and groups on living with greater mindfulness and purpose in our technology-rich age. He has taught everywhere from youth in New York City juvenile halls, trauma workers in Rwanda, teachers in Nigeria, and to staff at US technology companies.

His latest book is Wisdom 2.0: Ancient Teachings for the Creative and Constantly Connected (HarperOne, 2009), which offers tools for living with greater focus and ease in our increasingly connected world. It is one of the first books to explore a mindful and balanced life in our technology-rich age.

As project director for Richard Gere's public charity, Healing the Divide, he organized The Healing through Great Difficulty conference with his Holiness, the Dalai Lama.

He spent a year walking through parts of the United States, India, Pakistan, and Japan as a part of the Global Walk for a Livable World. He later founded the New York City-based non-profit, The Lineage Project, which offers awareness-based practices to at-risk and incarcerated teens.
